Top Ten Rules
10 - No player can have their character be a member of the following species; Q, Breen, Borg (Free or otherwise), Gorn, Any Species of the Dominion, Ba'ku, Enemies of the Federation, or any other technology superior race. Any questions about using a different species other then ones listed on the join form should be directed to the TFCO.
9 - Keep the content of your writing in good taste, (Imagine you're watching an episode on TV).
8 - All must be at least 18 years old to play on the simm.
7 - Recruiting for other games is off limits.
6 - Do not use another players character without their permission.
5 - Post to the story at least once a week. (Non-senior officers must post once every two weeks)The only way to get exempt is with a LOA (Leave of Absence).
4 - Follow the lead of your CO. Check your orders on the site for what you need to do in story.
3 - No character is allowed to have any connections (related, personally trained, mentored, etc.) to any character (Kirk, McCoy, Picard, Data, Riker, etc) in the Star Trek franchise. Be original!

Application Rules
- You must be 18 years of age or older at the time of your application.
- If applicant is proved to be younger then 18 the application will be denied.
- If after the applicant has been approved and is participating in the sim but is found to be younger then 18 the member will be removed immediately and blocked from the site until such time the former member is 18 years old.
- Applicants must create an original character that has ZERO ties to established (canon) Star Trek characters or characters from other franchises.
- No applicant can have their character be a member of the following species; Q, Breen, Borg (Free or otherwise), Gorn, Any Species of the Dominion, Ba'ku, Android (or any other mechanical life form), Enemies of the Federation, or any other technology superior race.
- New inexperienced applicants can only have characters be a member of the following species; Human.
- An experienced applicants character can be a created species/race as long as the CO buys off on it. A created species needs to have a well written back story for it to be considered.
Posting Rules
- Members must be able to post at least once every two weeks to the main story. For most months it is two posts a month.
- Personal Logs will NOT count to the posting to the main story as they are mostly a tool to develop the character.
- Department Heads and sim leaders should post to the main story once a week.
- This sim is 18 years of age and older but we should keep the language used as professional as we can.
- Sexual content is NOT allowed but remember this is Star Trek and not some love ship. We encourage inter-character relationships but keep it within good tastes.
- All posts, personal or mission, are to have at least two paragraphs with five lines to each paragraph. (This is a guideline, not so much a rule. Your posts should have substance.)
- All members are not allowed to post to the mission more then twice in a 24 hour period. This is to make sure others have a chance to get a post in before moving the story along.
- Violation of these posting rules for the first offense will be a written warning.
- Violation of these posting rules for the second time will be a two month moderation of all posts.
- Violation of these posting rules for the third time will be removal from sim.
Member Rules
- All new inexperienced members should take and then pass the entry simming course on the message board (forum). Those with simming experience can op to pass on the course.
- If a member wants to move up on the sim and take on more reasonability, like department head positions, and command positions, then the member must take and pass the leadership courses via private messages with the CO.
- All members should respect one another. This includes their political views, sexual orientation, how they write, and so on. You don't have to like one another in order to sim with one another.
- All members must respect other members characters.
- All members can't use other members characters without the approval of the members those character is going to be used. Unless the Command Staff deems it necessary as they have the power to use anyone's character to help tell and move forward with the story.
- All members must log into the website at LEAST once every month to show the member is still active.
- If a member fails to log into the website and post to the mission for two months then that member will be removed.
- All members are not to harass other members, sexually or other wise. If a member is found to be conducting themselves in such a matter they will be removed from the game and forum and be blocked for life.
- If a member needs time off away from the sim to take care of personal matters then a Leave of Absent should be requested through the website.
